Matthew Scerri, Ph.D., studied Italian Language at the University of Malta where he was conferred his Ph.D. in 2011. The title of the doctoral thesis is: L’elemento favolistico-fiabesco nella narrativa giovanile scritta da Italo Calvino. He teaches Italian in an independent Secondary School in Malta and is a Visiting Lecturer at the Dipartment of Italian within the Faculty of Arts at the University of Malta. In 2012 he published his first book: Il-Ħajja u l-Avventuri ta’ Santa Klaws, a translation from English to Maltese of the Frank L. Baum’s book The Life and Adventures of Santa Claus. Chi cerca trova is his second book published by Faraxa. His third publication, also published with Faraxa, is the translation of the Young Adult bestseller novel Nofsu Ħażin / Half Bad by Sally Green.
