Synopsis

A dystopian novella for young adults, set far into a bleak future.

Seventy one years after a global nuclear war, life trudges on in a rotting, decaying limp, while a tiny remnant of humanity live and die on a sick planet that is quickly turning into a deserted effigy. The sun is permanently hidden behind thick red clouds, while strong winds blow incessantly across fields that have turned to ash. And in all this despair and desolation, young Ben fights on in the shadow of a mysterious tower that has remained impenetrable for decades. Soon however, something is about to change.
