Levanzin, Vella Haber, and the Maltese language.

2024 was the 10th anniversary of Kelinu Vella Haber's passing, and 2025 is the 70th anniversary of Agostino Levanzin's. Agostino Levanzin u Kelinu Vella Haber: Ħabbew Ilsien Art Twelidhom combines the fruitful work and thoughts of these two men, whom on a span of 142 years worked in favours of the Maltese language and identity. Levanzin and Vella Haber – two educators, journalists, and cultural protagonists – worked for the emancipation of Maltese men and women, through their journalism, prose, and Moviment tal-Malti. This book, with notes and photos, sheds light on these writers and reminds us of the value of our language – Maltese – in times of great cultural transformation.
